The Petersburg Medical Center consists of a Physician’s Clinic, 14-bed hospital, and long-term care facility. The medical center has four full-time physicians and hosts traveling specialists who frequently visit from Juneau. The public health nurse also is located at the medical center.

Owned and operated by the municipality, the Mountain View Manor Assisted Living Facility has 12 apartments available for rent. A registered nurse manages the facility.

Additional health care providers include two dental clinics, a chiropractic office, infant learning center, mental health agency, and several message therapists.
